The integration of medical and prevention is an important path for deepening medical reform in China. It is also a fundamental guarantee for China to shift from a “treatment-centered” approach to a “people’s health-centered” approach in implementing the Healthy China Strategy. The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has made the construction of the medical care and disease prevention integration system more urgent. Based on the perspective of constructing an integrated medical and health service system, this paper deeply analyzes the existing problems and the solutions for achieving the integration of medical care and disease prevention, providing a reference for further promoting the integration of medical care and disease prevention.
